REMOTE_USER

Hi ! The global varaible $REMOTE_USER is not accessible in the pages that you open using Javascript ( using window.open , and build the html using window.document.write) . It just seem to dissapear . Although if I try to access any page from the protected directory , it doesn't ask me for re authenticatiing. It just goes and fetch the page (if you do echo $REMOTE_USER; it is not set ). You can check this at http://lnx.netphotograph.com/user/ , 1. search for clinton , 2. on the search page add images to lightbox , 3. Add few images to lightbox . The pages after this, do not have a value for $REMOTE_USER . Please check this out .. Mathur
