I have a problem with XML parsing, specifically with the way it passes the parsed data and how much it passes, to the Character Data Handler. It seems to have some sort of limit to the amount of data that can be passed inside the character handler. Since I have a large amount of text within a single tag, it does not pass all that information into the function I defined for CharacterData. It seemingly only sends some at a time. This is a major problem, since as I knew I would have a well-formed XML document, I used arrays to store the data and expect that everytime the CharacterData function is called a particular type of data is being passed in, according to a counter variable. This seems to happen despite what value i give to the fread inside the xml parser. It just seems to have a max number of characters it can pass to the CharacterData Handler function. Does anybody have any information? I have tried looking through the manual. And searching the web. And looking at bug reports.. Thanks! craig atkinson /caa@uvic.ca
