hello I use this to get information out of my db, I gives me back all the authors listed in the MYSQL_TABLENAME_ARTICLE. $result = mysql_query ("SELECT * FROM " . MYSQL_TABLENAME_ARTICLE, $db); while ($result_row = mysql_fetch_array ($result)) { echo ("$result_row[author]<br>\n"); } mysql_free_result($result); now a newbie a question how do I avoid that double authors get listed twice or authors that are listed more then one time just get listed once ? now my code returns me 107 authors (thats also the nr of articles :-) ) I use select * while I need to use more then just the $result_row[author]. greetings Hanz :: exprezz yourselve :: www.room23.org :: version (1.0) ::
