what's the difference between sybase and sybase-ct?
I've been testing to compile freetds and sybase-11.9.2 as --with-sybase
and --with-sybase-ct
Ive tried to compile php4.0.3pl1 (linux) on many different ways to use a
remote MSSQL7 + Sp2 box.
--with-sybase works fine for handling sql errors , --with-sybase-ct hangs
the script forever without reporting any errors (if you misstyped the
query). but --with-sybase is segfaulting when retrieving some binary data
from a text field.
well, is there any information about the differences between these two
didferent ways to compile sybase libraries on php?
