Evening gang,
I'm in the throes of writing myself an error handling class. One of the
things I always did very early on in my C/C++ projects was to create this
module, and additionally I'd create an enum typedef{}to aid readability of
my code, so that I was always in every function returns e_OK instead of
TRUE. In our dear PHP I'm using define() to create my e_OK variable, too
easy.
However the list of my error definitions can swell to about 20 or 30 (does
that say something about my code *snicker*). What I wondering is the
following,
Let say I end up going mad (hey it happens in our industry) and create
around 300+ error codes, what penalty am I going to incur in my scripting?
Any? Do they take long to define?
Cheers guys.
