sybase help

I am trying to compile php with sybase into apache. Our version of
sybase is 11.5 and my OS is solaris 2.7. I've found the elf binaries
for linux but I need something for solaris. Can anyone help - this
is driving me crazy! I get this error when doing a make in apache:
ld.so.1: ./gen_uri_delims: fatal: relocation error: file /exon2b/sybase11.5/lib/libsybtcl.so: symbol
comn_free: referenced symbol not found
