I would have to disagree with one thing you said "the official php-manual ... sucks" I think your wrong in this area (imho). I have been coding for quite some while now, and personally find this one of the best manual's I have ever seen. The entire php manual system http://www.php.net/manual/ http://www.php.net/[search keyword] http://snaps.php.net/manual/en/html/ http://lxr.php.net/ news://news.php.net is excellent I don't think I have ever seen such an amazing source of information all under one domain name in my life.
