websphere application server and php

Hello,
I got php compiled on a linux server running was 3.02 and ibm apache 1.3.12.
I copied the php sourcecode, tested the config with phpinfo() but have some
problems.
I use a lot of sessionvariables to store userdata, but on the was these are
not stocked.
This has probably something to do with the websphere server also keeping
sessionvariables.
Anyone has a similar setup, and can help me?
