PHP To an EXE Executable for Win32 ( Is it possible)

I know that there's apparently some way to compile PHP to make it run faster. But has anyone come up with a system to turn PHP scripts into an .exe? What I mean is you would run the exe and see exactly the same thing as if you were viewing the script through a webbrowser, but without having to install php. What is the name of this? - Dan
