The first one shouldnt be a problem if you can get all the infrmation in the db. using the mail() function isn't bad at all. http://www.php.net/manual/function.mail.php here's an idea I allways had, but have never had the chance of accually testing in use. use mcrypt http://www.php.net/manual/function.mcrypt-encrypt.php have a set key, identical on server1 as on server2 and encrypt / decrypt the sessioID. then the value is never sent plain text. What Ive wanted to do is use time() for the key, this would make a great key I figure. $key = "can you guess my number ? the value is " . time() ; I use ntp time on all of my servers and therefore the time is almost allways bang on. never put this idea to test though. well back to where we were, just cross reference the SessionID with a MySQL db to make sure the customer exists. and good enough I figure eh. I would like to hear comments on this idea though for sure :) Chris Lee Mediawaveonline.com In article <4.3.2.7.0.20001124153556.00b8b430@mail.islandnet.com>, richardc@dreamriver.com wrote: > Hi All, I have not one but two unrelated algorithms to solve: > > MATING > 1.
