Hi,
first is that you have to compile php --with-apxs
then you will get an module called "libphp4.so".
Check the SuSE startscript for apache and you'll find the folliwing line.
test -e /usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so && MODULES="-D PHP4 $MODULES"
If you have compiled php only with ./configure --with-that-what-i-have but
with no --prefix your files will me copied with make install not to SuSE's
places.
Try:
./configure --with-mysql=/usr --with-apxs --enable-track-vars
--prefix=/usr --bindir=/usr/bin --sbindir --libexecdir=/usr/libexec/
--sysconfdir=/etc/ --datadir=/usr/share/ --includedir=/usr/include/
--localstatedir=/var/ --mandir=/usr/man --with-gd=/usr/
and your oraclestuff. This should be SuSE-Style. If it isn't work you can
give in httpd.conf the exact pathes for "LoadModule php4_module" and also
kick SuSE's <IfModule mod_php4.c> and </IfModule> lines, then your own php
modules should get loaded.

Folke
