session_register() in WML

Hi!
I am developing a WML Application using PHP 4.0B2 and
MySQL 3.22.14b. It works fine till it comes to
session's ...
Session handling works with the HTML Application using
PHP just fine.
Actually, there seem to be a problem with the
session_register() function ... echo session_id();
gives me an output, but session_is_registered()
returns false.
Do you have experienced any trouble with the function
in WML ?
