hello,
we#ve got a linux-box (redhat 6.2) working fine with mysql and php4.01pl2
but due to a power-shortage our server crashed
now on startup we get the message

Give root password for maintenance
(or type control-D for normal startup):
our problem is that the password is not accepted
( yes we give the right root-password )
any help out there ?
