I believe you can just set the "Return-Path" header within your email.
See example 3 at http://www.php.net/manual/function.mail.php

Subject: [PHP] usage of mail()
Hi!
If I send a mail to a non-existing emailaddress from home (with my
mailclient), it will be returned to me - telling me, that this message
couldn't be
delivered!
How can I do the same thing with the mail()-function!
If the emailaddress does not exist, I want a message in my personal
mailbox - is this possible?
and if not - is it possible by using the linux sendmail-command?
thanks
and any help appreciated!!!
