OK. I have managed to find a few of my mistakes. Part of them were the max_upload_size part of the
form was not forming correctly. This has been fixed.
I have adjused my config file for this server to match the style of your config. I have to leave
safe mode off for the time being until such time as I work out other issues.
My doc_root points to my root folder and matches the root folder defines for the web server. my
upload_tmp_dir points to my upload folder. The upload folder for the time being has 777 rights.
When I upload a file and dump my avriables I get this as a reply. Userfile is the name of the
control I am using.
Userfile:C:\\My Documents\\My Pictures\\Gore Bush.PDD.gif
Userfile Name:
Userfile Size:
Userfile Type:
Are there any other debugging steps I can take to try to figure out why the file is getting dumped
or where its getting dumped. I am refering to myself in the post form.

Hi!
Here my config:
php_admin_value upload_tmp_dir
/home/folke/medien/htdocs/cms/imgdir/upload/
php_flag safe_mode On
php_value doc_root /home/folke/medien/htdocs/cms/
also be attentable that the directory where upload_tmp_dir points to has
to be writeable for the user httpd runs (wwwrun or something else)!
that should work now!
Regards
Folke

related to the root to the directory root. I am able to upload but cannot find the uploaded files in

an apache variable that has to be set up.
