My apologies if this message shows up twice on the mail list, my
original posting doesn't appear to have gone through.......
I am in the process of moving my website off of a linux box running
php3, on to a Win2k server running php4 and several of my scripts
have stopped working correctly. The problem is I keep getting
undefined variable errors on scripts that ran perfectly fine under
php3. For example;
<tr>
<td bgcolor="#006699" align="center" width="245">
<input type="hidden" name="app" value="application">
<font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color="#FFFFFF"
size="2">Model Number</font><br>
<input type="text" name="model" size="22" maxlength="20"
value="<?php echo $model?>">
</td>
Returns - Warning: Undefined Variable: model in .....Then the file
name and line number.
This one:
<td bgcolor="#006699" align="center" width="245">
<input type="hidden" name="parts"
value="primary_description">
<font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color="#FFFFFF"
size="2">Parts Description</font><br>
<input type="text" name="part" size="22" maxlength="25"
value="<?php echo $part?>">
</td>
Returns - Warning: Undefined Variable: part in .......etc., etc.
Everything runs fine under php3 and linux, but falls apart under
php4 and Win2k. Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Mark
