FastTemplates homepage explains this problem in detail. You have to modify
the fasttemplate include with the changes detailed at

Subject: [PHP] FastTemplate
Hey,
I am trying out the fast template class and have run into some strange
behaviour, I seem to have it working but when the class parses the
templates into the main file it leaves behind the curly braces so:
<html>
{HEADER}
<p>Hello
{FOOTER}
</html>
becomes:
<html>
{<head><title>hello</title></head>
<body>
}
<p>Hello
{</body>
</html>
}
has anyone had any simular problems? I am using php4.03pl1 compiled as
DSO
Any help mutch appreciated
Regards
Joseph
