Hi,
I see other users have reported similar problems.
PHP Version 4.0.3pl1
The only FastTemplate I was able to find online was
Version 1.1.0 release date Jun 27 1999.
The filename is
class.FastTemplate.php3
Apparently there exists an incompatibility between this version of FastTemplate and PHP4. This
problem appears to be related to PHP4's regex parsing. All occurrences of a character sequence
in a
template file are being replaced, and not only the occurrences delimited by braces. I.e. given
<TITLE>{TITLE}</TITLE>
and assignment of "Bug" to replace "TITLE" results in
<Bug>{Bug}</Bug>
Braces are preserved in the resulting output.
Anywhere I can download a newer version of FastTemplate that works with PHP4? A PHP4 patch that
corrects the problem?
