To all:
I recently upgraded from php 3.0.14 to 4.0.0. In the following
code snippet, php3 successfully "required" the file; php4 (quite
rightly) did not. I had to add $common to the end of the global
statement to get the require statement to work under php4. I am
surprised that the require statement worked under php3!!
