This mailing list is my last resort, really, I'm going insane here.
I have am working on a program written in C, that's config files are GDBM databases. I would like to use a PHP prog I've made to make the changes to the GDBM files. My problem is, C can't read what PHP has written to the file, and vice versa.. The wierd part is, when I use gdbm_firstkey() and gdbm_nextkey() in my C prog, it can show the key/data pairs that both it and the PHP prog wrote to it. When I try to get data from a key that is in the file with gdbm_fetch(), it returns NULL.
The program I am writing, and PHP were using the same libgbdm.a from gdbm-1.8.0. I've tried using Berkeley DB, but the same damn thing happens..
Any suggestions/ideas as to why it's doing this, and what I can do to work around it would be greatly appreciated. I'm not on the list, so please reply to me.
Thanks!
Mike
