Hi,
I have a boggling situation here: PHP seems to be preventing Apache from
exiting. When the PHP module is loaded, this is what I get:
httpd 1322 0.0 5.8 9636 7512 ? S 00:53 0:00
/usr/sbin/httpd -f /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
httpd 1323 0.0 5.8 9636 7512 ? S 00:53 0:00
/usr/sbin/httpd -f /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
httpd 1324 0.0 5.8 9636 7512 ? S 00:53 0:00
/usr/sbin/httpd -f /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
httpd 1325 0.0 5.8 9636 7512 ? S 00:53 0:00
/usr/sbin/httpd -f /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
httpd 1326 0.0 5.8 9636 7512 ? S 00:53 0:00
/usr/sbin/httpd -f /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
etc. etc. etc., until the server overloads. However, when PHP is unloaded,
it's fine.
None of the config files were modified recently, anyone have any ideas?
I was running PHP4.0.1pl2 before when the problem first started; I upgraded
to PHP4.0.3pl1 and same problem.
PLEASE send a copy of your reply to esun@home.com.
Thanks!
