I have noticed that PostGres itself did not work properly under PHP 4.0.3.
Code written in 4.0.1 works fine but not in 4.0.3. PostGres in my case would
drop the first connection and all other connection request would be OK, but
always the first one is dropped. How I fixed my problem was to reinstall
4.0.1.
