problems with postgresql and php

Ive installed a postgresql snapshot from today(seems to work fine) , Im
using suse 6.3, apache 1.3.14 and php4.0.3pl1 as a dso.
The compile seems to go ok but when I start - i get the error
"/path/to/liphp4.so undefined symbol: PQoid Value" and apache wont start

I have postgresql 7.03 and php working together on a freebsd fine, so
it's no big deal, just wondering if anyone has them working and what the
problem might be
