Advice wanted

Hi, I am wanting to ask some advice on project I have in mind, but I am having problems finding examples. What I am working on is a set of tools that creates reports based on actions. I have the reports working good, but what I advice on is this. I like to create a page that shows a calendar. If an actions kicked off a report. I like to see on that calendar the date or link show a clickable link or under that date the name of the report. Does anyone know where I can find examples so I can see what I need to do? Payne
