Hmm, I figured it out. ibase_blob_echo does what the name implies. It
echos. But I it also returns 1 if successful. Strange. As for
ibase_blob_info, it eludes me. I can still use ibase_field_info, hopefully.

Subject: [PHP] InterBase BLOBs
I am trying to select data out of a BLOB field in an InterBase6 database.
Here's the construct after I did a ibase_fetch_object().
$content_info = ibase_blob_info ( $file->CONTENT ) ;
$content = ibase_blob_echo ( $file->CONTENT ) ;
$content_info->length is blank, but $content has the value of 1. I must
have something wrong here. Any ideas?
If I echo $file->CONTENT directly, I get garbage, which is what I'm
expecting, seeing as how that's supposed to be a blob id.
