PHP will do this when compiled as a stand alone, so I assume it does it
as well when used as a CGI.
PHP 4.0.2 as a stand alone:
/usr/local/bin/php emptyfile.php :
phpinfo() fuX-Powered-By: PHP/4.0.2
Content-type: text/html
<\n>
/usr/local/bin/php -q emptyfile.php outputs nothing.
Now, as Apache DSO:
telnet localhost 80
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
get /emptyfile.php
Connection closed by foreign host.
No ouput.
