We have several virtual hosts on our Yellow Dog Linux server. One of the vhosts has auto_prepend_file directive and an auto_append_file lines in the <VirtualHost> directive. It works as expected, but occasionally, the append/prepend file shows up on the pages of other virtual hosts! -=8-0 Very disconcerting... It appears to be an entirely random occurrence.
Anyway, I seem to have solved the problem (I think..) by adding auto_prepend_file and auto_append_file directives to all the other virtual hosts and setting the value to "none." This seems kludgy... Anybody else experienced this? Is it a bug in PHP?
(PHP 4.0.2 and Apache 1.3.14 on our machine currently)
