Well, no.... BUT
check out efax (there's a link on my sourceforge page).
What I did to create the fax cover page was:
generate a tiff file of the basic layout
generate a text file which then gets overlaid onto the tiff
efax encludes some quite poweful functions to turn text, postscript,
and other output into tiff3 (G3, or something, basically the standard
fax format - an image format).
I would suggest downloading efax, and playing with it. You'd be
surpised what you can do with sending a plain text file as a fax.
PHPFax is broken down into a true client/server setup, where the client
submits the fax job, and then the server take care of sending the fax,
all the while telling the client what is going on.
In your case, I don't think you need all the functionality PHPFax
provides.
Play with efax, and I think you'll find your solution. And if you ask
real nice :) I might be able to find the time to put together a quick
example of (what I think) you need.
