aix - compilation

i have tried to compile php 4.0.3pl1 under AIX 4.3. For the compilation i
used the ibm compiler xlc_r (C for AIX Compiler, Version 5).
the configuration is not done either, i just configured it with the
apache-option (1.3.14).
the configure - command was good, as i tried to run make, the following
error-message occurs:

"zend_extensions.c", line 50.16: 1506-068 (S) Operation between types
"void*" and "int" is not allowed.
----------
can anybody help me and tell me a hint, or should i just try to make a type
convertion.
line 50:
handle = DL_LOAD(path);
maybe change into:
handle = (int) DL_LOAD(path);
