4.0.2 was a stable release, not a beta release. The current stable
release is 4.0.3pl1, so that would probably be the version you'd want to
use. The wordwrap function you're looking for is there, with an
additional parameter, 'cut'.

Additionally, there were changes to various functions in the course of
developing the 3.x tree (3.0.2 is over 2 years old). The above list may
