To all of you most exert than me (ie: to everyone)
Is it possible to build a php app that performs UNICASTING?
Is Push technology a fake push or is it real?
I mean:
A sw that pushes info to your desktop waits for info coming from a server
or
just silently, continuously, repetively send requests to the server every,
let's say 10 seconds?
For instance: ICQ. MESSAGES are sent to user or ICQ client every ten
seconds
checks for new messages on the server that are destinated to that client?
If PUSH is PUSH and not a silent pull, than can it be done something
similar to real PUSH with PHP?
Anybody have resources or links about BUILDING UNICASTING Apps?
