HTTPD doesn't start when configured with PHP4 with oracle

Hi,
I've configured PHP 4 with oracle 8.1.5 and I compiled apache from source.
These are the options used:
For Apache:
-----------
./configure --enable-module=so --prefix=/usr/local/apache
For PHP 4:
----------
./configure --with-oracle --with-oci8 --with-apxs --enable-sigchild
When I start Apache using "apachectl start", it dies immediately without any
error messages.
I don't know where I'm going wrong. Can anyone help me?
