ok..I feel as though I should clear this up. We're not working with php classes here. Never were. We're working with COM objects, dll's. I can't do anything to classes I'm not defining. I'm being given existing dll's and I'm expected to work with them. So, I suspect that, although I haven't had a chance to test all the suggestions that have come through so far, that a lot of what's being said doesn't apply. I do appreciate everyone's time, but I want to make sure I'm being clear so that none of you are WASTING any of your valuable time. I don't want to sound ungrateful, and please smack me down if I'm just not understanding all of this.
