Hi
I know this is off-topic, but never-the-less I'm hoping someone
can help me
anyway.
Can any tell me what headers I need to send to make IE realise
that an image
i'm sending from the database is really of the type it is, and I specify?
I'm currently sending the following headers:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Fri, 08 Dec 2000 04:57:19 GMT
Server: Apache/1.3.14 (Unix) mod_perl/1.24_01 PHP/4.0.3pl1 mod_ssl/2.7.1
OpenSSL/0.9.5a
Pragma: no-cache
Cache-control: no-cache
Content-Disposition: inline; filename=image0.gif
Content-Length: 56117
Connection: close
Content-Type: image/gif
Expires: Fri, 08 Dec 2000 04:57:19 GMT
And IE insists that the image i'm trying to send it is a bitmap and should
be saved as untitled.bmp
The image is definately a GIF, as when I save it and run 'file image0.gif'
it says it's a GIF, as does 'identify' from the ImageMagick package.
Thanks in advance,
Mark
