php engine, safe mode and per directory settings

Hi, I've been using php3 for a whiile and decided to switch to php4. I've discovred the hard way that most of the previous php3_xxxx settings that I could set in my httpd.conf were moved to php.ini. I'd like to know how can I switch the php_engine and safe_mode (for example) in php.ini for different directories ? for example turn off the engine for /home/somedir while enabling /home/httpd/html. thanks __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
