You'll have to attach mime stuff -- check out Manuel Lemos' mail class.
And if you want a different image each time, just use <IMG SRC=random.php >
where random.php returns a random image (or whatever scheme you have going
to pick ads).
Count on folks like me unsubscribing in droves from the newsletter though.
