The biggest problem in uploading a file is figuring out how large it is. You can't find that out in phpWell you can find it out with the uploadprogress or APC PECL extensions. If you use Zend Framework then it has a progress bar for file upload built in. http://www.framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.file.html#zend.file.transfer.introduction.uploadprogress HTHs Col -- Colin Guthrie gmane(at)colin.guthr.ie http://colin.guthr.ie/ Day Job: Tribalogic Limited [http://www.tribalogic.net/] Open Source: Mandriva Linux Contributor [http://www.mandriva.com/] PulseAudio Hacker [http://www.pulseaudio.org/] Trac Hacker [http://trac.edgewall.org/]
