and in this test, $symLinkTest seems to be returning false, every time.
$symLinkTarget='testDir/amex_cid.gif';
$SymLinkNew='testDir/myccGOV.gif';
$symLinkTest=symlink($symLinkTarget, $SymLinkNew);
echo "symLinkTest=";
echo var_dump($symLinkTest);
--
returns:
symLinkTest=bool(false)
--
the amex_cid.gif' file is definitely there in the testDir/ dir.
