Or, since he's using Apache already,
he could do the simple thing and download PHP/4.0.3pl1
It includes the compiled module for apache for windows!
This is proven to be much more stable than the ISAPI module.
It can be found in %phpdir%\sapi\php4apache.dll
Just add
LoadModule mod_php4 %phpdir%/sapi/php4apache.dll
and
AddType ...
to your httpd.conf
(remember to remvoe the php cgi stuff from your httpd.conf.)
Someone needs to rewrite all those apache/php/win32 guides.
Oh well.
