If your content is not user specific, you can always
use some sort of caching.
There is an extension to FastTemplates that implements
caching.

Yo, I'm building a site, a sort of community for literature, and I'm using
fastTemplates wich I find very timesaving, since I'm not the one who creates
the design. But I have read, some messages here that says that it's kind of
slow, with a lot of hits. What I wonder is, if it is a bad idea using
fastTemplates for this kind of projects (I don't expect it to be a superhit,
maybe a hundred hits or so per day) and in that case how I should do it?
Thanks in advance for any answers!
