Hi Delbono! I've been out of business for a while (changing of priorities in the company, you know! But back to the PHP vibes! 1. This hint you gave me, is that not gonna cause to much overload on the database? 2. Is there no easier way to put every page(almost every, 'cause I use frames, and they don't need to be in the database. Only the pagese that appear in my "body" frame should be) in the site-search-database ? Thanks for any trick or fancy tip! Yoeri. Simple hint. Add a fake image to every old and new image. This fake image is the output of a php file. This php file tracks clicks. Every clicks records the page clicked. (the url) Create a db and a table. Table made like this. | urlID | url | text_of_page | the very first time someone loads the page, the script that generates the fake image checks into the db if url loaded is present in the db. if present, the scripts doesn't do anything. If not present, the script makes 2 things: adds the url to the db adds text of the new page to the third field. (using the strip_tags function) So you've got 1. TEXT TO SEARCH IN 2. URL to display results. for your search engine. If you don't want to call the fake_image_script for nothing every time, (cause the script is used just the first time) you can build up another really simple script called "ADD_URL.php3" for your own use. Every time you add a page, you have to remember to suggest the url to your search engine.
