I use the following code at the bottom of the pages I
need this information for:
echo "

\n";
echo "
\n";
echo "\n";
echo "
Last modified: " . date( "F d, Y", filemtime( basename( $PHP_SELF
)));
echo "
\n";
echo "
\n";
