I have a fairly successful PHP Search Class - however it doesn't do static
files yes (support is planned). It does, however, do multiple tables in a DB.
You can find it at http://www.miester.org/software -
it's called Miester Search.
My paging system is in there as well (which does the 1 2 3 4 5 Next>>>)
