I'm not sure you can make it do it automatically, but you can either use $HTTP_SERVER_VARS["PHP_SELF"] or put:
$PHP_SELF = $HTTP_SERVER_VARS["PHP_SELF"];
in your code.

Hi all, I've set register_globals in my php.ini to off. I want to encourage developers on our team to use HTTP_POST_VARS and HTTP_GET_VARS in their scripts as much as possible. However, since doing this $PHP_SELF is no longer available. Is there any way of getting the value of what PHP_SELF should be without having register_globals turned on in php.ini ?
