Hello all,
I have been trying, on and off now for a month, to compile php4 (RC1, RC2,
and 4.0) with support for Oracle, OCI8, Sysbase-ct, and PostgreSQL. I've
tried too many combinations to remember or list, but always have a problem
with Apache dying on me unless I *only* compile in PostgreSQL support.
Sometimes Apache dies silently, sometimes not so silently. I did find a
reference to compiling Apache with -lpthreads, and tried it, but it didn't
change anything.
I'm a novice when it come to compiling C code, so I was hoping for someone
to point me in the right direction.
I'm running RedHat 6.1, glibc 2.1.3, egcs 1.1.2, Apache 1.3.12, PostgreSQL
6.5.3, Oracle 8.1.5, and SQL Server 6.5 & 7.0 (hence the Sysbase-ct 11.9.2).
The build script Ive been using is:
***************************************
make clean
rm -f config.cache
./configure \
--prefix=/usr \
--disable-debug \
--with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd \
--with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs \
--with-sybase-ct=/dci/sybase \
--enable-safe-mode \
--with-exec-dir=/usr/bin \
--with-zlib \
--enable-debugger \
--enable-magic-quotes \
--enable-track-vars \
--enable-versioning \
--with-ldap \
--with-pgsql=shared \
--with-gd=shared \
--with-oracle=/usr/OraHome1 \
--with-oci8=/usr/OraHome1 \
--enable-trans-sid
make install
***********************************************
Any help would be grately appreciated.
Thanks.
