I will attempt it now. An editor with syntax checking?? Currently my data center is in the UK and I am in Turkey so am having to SSH in andmy current text editor is nano. Are there any good CLI based editors that will do highlighting something hopefully not in the vi/vim categories as I really don't get on with them! When working in a shell, I always use joe (Joe's Own Editor). But my first word processor was WordStar, so those keystrokes come naturally. People who learned on newer programs probably won't have the same experience.
