Subject: [PHP] $PATH_INFO w/ Apache and Win98
Hello all. I'm running Windows 98 and Apache and I'm trying to get
$PATH_INFO to work. I've installed both Apache and PHP4 using default
settings, and copied the following lines into the httpd.conf file:
ScriptAlias /php/ "c:/php/"
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php .phtml
Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php.exe"
and my script (test.php) is simply:
<? echo $PHP_INFO; ?>
When I run it without any stuff at the end of the path (just
"127.0.0.1/test.php") it outputs "/test.php". When I try
"127.0.0.1/test.php/" it outputs "/test.php/".
However, when I try "127.0.0.1/test.php/test" it gives me an Internal Server
Error.
Inside the Apache error.log, this line appears:
[Wed Dec 13 16:33:58 2000] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Premature end of
script headers: c:/php/php.exe
Please help! I can't find anything I didn't do right, but there's obviously
something wrong.
Thanks.
- John
