how to terminate PHP script on user request? is there something like Ctrl-C
??
I tried ignore_user_abort(0) but it terminates the script when the output,
the script is writing to, gets disconnected. My scripts are running for 3 or
more minutes and consume 99% of CPU. When I tried to run a script and then
disconnected the browser (either STOP button or close down the window) the
process was still running. It didn't terminate immediately.
I also tried
if ( !connection_aborted )
{
...
}
but it didn;t work either..
any ideas?!

PS. I'm running PHP 4.03pl, Apache and sparc Solaris 2.6
