I use JavaScript (for my image refreshing) for my webcam
<script language="Javascript">
<!--
function refreshCam(){
rfsh = new Date() ; rfsh = "?"+rfsh.getTime()
document.images["webcam"].src = "webcam.jpg"+rfsh
setTimeout("refreshCam()", 30000)
}
//-->
<!--
function confirmLoad(){
confirm("<insert legal 'watch at your own risk' here")}
--->
</script>
</head>
<body bgcolor="#000000" text="#FFFFFF" leftmargin="0"
topmargin="0"
marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" onLoad="javascript:confirmLoad()">
<center><img src="webcam.jpg" name="webcam" width="320"
height="240"
border="0" alt="Look at me!"></center>
<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
if( document.images )
refreshCam();
//-->
</script>
On a more off topic note, it may be too troublesome with larger images with
a five second refresh rate. I use my line in my college room, and it
boggles my connection down if I do anything under an eight second upload,
let alone a eight second refresh as well. (basically, I'm saying that not
everyone has T3 Lines that could handle the bandwith).
