If you are root, you could add .inc to be parsed for PHP in apache
configuration.
or even better
having a folder outside root with all your library.

Subject: [PHP] include files / htaccess
I know, this is a little bit OffTopic but ...
It is not possible for me, to put my include-files ".inc" out of the
htdocs-path!
Can I use htaccess to prevent the server showing these files' source-code?
thanks
michi
